Description:

The static penetrometer is applicable to the in-situ test of civil construction engineering, municipal engineering, highway and engineering foundation soil in general cohesive soil, soft soil, loess and dense sandy soil areas, and is used to find out the vertical and horizontal changes of the stratum; Determine the bearing capacity of natural foundation and estimate the bearing capacity of single pile; Identify the possibility of sand liquefaction; Determine the undrained shear strength of soft soil; Provide calculation indexes for bearing capacity of soft soil foundation and slope stability.

The static penetrometer uses mechanical rotation to press the probe into the soil at a uniform speed. It is suitable for testing in soft soil, cohesive soil, old clay, loess, sandy soil and other strata. The resistance generated when the probe contacts with the soil layer is transmitted to the ground meter table through the signal of resistance change. The components of the static cone penetrometer are light in weight, small in size, convenient in handling, convenient in installation, and high in working efficiency. It can be equipped with different diameter probe rods and probes.
